Latest Update:
As we searched for Hot Damn Pam’s home we were contacted by Grayson, who works with Dr. Larsen in Sulfur Springs, TX. Pam was cared for by Grayson and Dr. Larsen’s team while she had her eye surgery, was spayed, as well as her heart worm treatment. During that time he grew to love this sweet, affectionate girl, and wanted to adopt her.
We were absolutely thrilled!
Grayson’s son, Drake, loves her so much, and Pam just loves kids so we knew this would be a great spot for her.
The happy ending is finally here for Hot Damn Pam. Happy life sweet girl!
Pam was rescued from a Craigslist ad in east Texas. She has heart worm and will need surgery on her eyes as well as spaying. Pam has come to us with issues of trusting humans to handle her ears and her eyes but she is improving day by day. She loves kids and we will continue to work with her on her social skills while she is recovering.
Update:
Pam is complete vetted now, she’s been spayed, she’s had entropian sugery, she’s been treated for heartworms, Pam has learned to trust us much more since she first came and she loves treats and attention. She is not good with cats but gets along with most of the dogs here at the Ranch, she does have a dominant tendency and is corrected for being out of line and responds well to that.
I do believe that Pam is a mix of maybe part Bordeaux and part Sharpei, she has the looks of a Sharpei and some of the personality traits that they exhibit. We estimate Pam to be around 3 years old.
She is housebroken here at the Ranch but with any dog coming into a home I always tell people you are starting from scratch for them to understand where they go and how they get there. Pam loves my grandaughter Mabel and when she was picked up by the people getting rid of her on Craigslist the car was full of children and it’s obvious that she loves them.
