Latest Update:
Sweet Persimmon was adopted today by Jamie Anderson from Carrollton, TX. Jamie is a previous DRR adopter. You might remember Amelia the schnauzer mix who was rescued from outside a hotel room. Amelia is now known as Lily and Persimmon’s new name will be Daisy. I’m sure these two flower girls will be the best of friends in no time. Jamie’s family was so excited to meet Persimmon that her son and nephew came home from college to spend the weekend with them.
Daisy will be spoiled beyond her wildest dreams. Jamie has already purchased a play pen for home, a car seat with a special harness to keep Daisy safe in the car, and a pretty pink leash. She is making plans to shop for lots of girly clothes and bows for this precious girl. We dressed her in a cute little onesie to keep her from bothering the stitches from her spay and off they went to start their new lives together.
We look forward to seeing updates of Lily and Daisy in their matching PJ’s on the happy tails page soon.
About Persimmon:
At the November auction we attended, they said this little Yorkie had been bred, but we know they lie to up the price of the dog, so we will wait a couple of weeks to do an ultrasound and see if she’s pregnant. If she is not we will get her spayed and have her ready for adoption. She’s only a year and a half years old but she’s a tiny angel.
Say hello to Persimmon!
