This is Petunia and I know her family falls in that category and we hope they find some relief knowing she went to a terrific family. Trish facilitated the adoption of Petunia in Oklahoma and shared all the details with us:

“Petunia won the dog lottery!! Dan Flori (grandpa) and Kristin Berges aunt) drove all the way from from Colorado to Oklahoma today to take her home to Megan and Matt King. Her new family consists of 4 grandparents, aunt, uncle, 3 little red headed girl cousins, 3 fur cousins and 3 brothers and a sister and will include weekly trips to grandpas house to play every Friday night!

Three of the dogs are DRR alumni, Rosie (Piano), Harry (Corn Chex), and Harper (Alexis Smith). My friends that had to relinquish her are very sad and wish circumstances were different, but grateful such a wonderful, loving home was found and look forward to following her life on Happy Tails. Thank you Laura for an awesome choice for her new family!!!”

Petunia is an owner surrender due to health issues in the family. She was born on 7/5/2018 and loves other dogs and would dopest if she had at least one other dogtolivewith. She is a very excited girl with lots of energy so she needs a good match for that.
