Latest Update:
It was finally time for big girl Queensryche to be adopted. Her sister Rush left weeks ago but Queen had an infection in her front leg with a great big bump that we were concerned with. Thankfully it turned out too e a deep infection that just needed some heavy duty antibiotics to knock it out.
Her family came to pick up this great big girl yesterday, The Councill’s from Dallas, Texas are her new mom and dad. Her new name will be Alice. A funny story about Queen, she has been a big difficult job to get her to get in a car, lots of muscle, two people, we’ve done it all. Travis said Alice walked out to the parking lot with her new mom and dad and what did she do?
You guessed it she hopped right into the car…
You think dogs don’t know? you’d be wrong…
Happy life big Alice, enjoy your car rides and your new life….
The catalog states that she is a Mastiff color fawn born on 11/3/16.
The two English Mastiffs that are coming back with us are sisters. Our bidder fell in love with them and was so happy we could take them.
This is formerly #118

UPDATE 4/6/2021
We are so relieved that the cultures for Queensryche lump on her leg came back with 3 different bacteria and her antibiotics were adjusted with great results. The lump is almost all the way gone now and we are feeling pretty confident that we are solving the issue.
UPDATE 3/30/2021
Sometimes we see the strangest things and we have to just try and figure it out, Queensryche went in for her spay and it was a big bloody mess as you would expect with a gigantic dog that has had numerous amount of pups. Dr. Reno wanted her observed over night so we took her to the ER for them to do just that. Suddenly she came up with a lump on her front leg, just out of the blue. Dr. Rolfe took over and did some biopsies with not a lot of conclusions, x-rays show some changes in the bone, but not conclusive. More biopsies were done without a lot of conclusions other than some bacteria so right now we are just in a holding pattern as we try and figure out exactly what it is.
