Latest Update:
Sandy Weeks was adopted today. She had a long road with multiple medical issues that needed to be resolved but today she is finally healthy and ready to start her new adventure. She is going to live with Juanita and Sherif Sharawi in Heath, TX. She will have a lab rescue sister named Hope to show her around her new home. Juanita and Sherif are so excited to get this precious girl home so they can start spoiling her. They are planning to keep the name Sandy. They brought her a collar with her name on it and new leash. Happy life sweet Sandy! We look forward to seeing your updates on the Happy Tails page soon.
About Sandy Weeks:#408 is a female Cavalier King Charles and she was born on 01/11/2015. The last litter that she had was six pups and she was being advertised as a good mom. Welcome to the good life Sandy Weeks. Sandy is a registered nurse.
UPDATE 4/11/2020
Yesterday Sandy Weeks went in for her exam and boom just like that pregnancy is highly suspected. She apparently was bred to a Poodle and on her exam they felt she is pregnant so she will head off to Jenn’s house this afternoon until we get to the bottom of it.
UPDATE 4/15/2020
Jenn is continuing to fill us in on the pregnant mamas at maternity manor. We learned yesterday by ultrasound yesterday that she has 6 puppies in there. Half Poodle and half Cavalier is what we believe she will be having.
“I picked up Sandy on Saturday afternoon from the ranch. She is doing great in a home setting and gets along well with everyone. She is quickly learning the routine here. She is a little shy when I try to pet her head. She pancakes sometimes if I try to pick her up but she follows me and the other dogs outside when it’s time to do her business. She has not had any accidents in her crate at night. She loves food! I watch her portions to make sure her weight gain is due to growing puppies and not from too much food. Today is her first day at work with me and she settled right down next to my chair for a nap. I can’t wait to watch her come out of her shell more and more”
