Who doesn’t love a hound dog?
Sandy Hound departed for her forever life today. Kathy & Brian Renz from Benbrook, TX are retired and home all day and have had dogs for 47 of the 48 years that they have been married and particularly love hounds.
When we called to do their veterinary reference check the office didn’t barely let us get their name out of our mouth before they started gushing about what a wonderful family they are and how they go above and beyond for their dogs. They currently have a 7 year old Beagle named Bailey who will help little Sandy Hound adjust and give her someone to play with. They also have grandchildren who she will get to grow up with.
Sandy Hounds new name will be Charlie and we’ve learned this baby will be sleeping in bed with her new mama and papa.
Happy life. little Hound Doggie!
This sweet girl was a breeder release in Missouri so Ricky of course jumped on board to make the trip to pick up the pup. He then reached out to Sandy Evans who was the winning auction bidder for making a trip to transport a new rescue.
Sandy has been a follower of LSDR and DRR for over 3 years. This was her birthday gift to herself. She lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas and was thrilled to take part in this trip.
The Bassett Hound pup is a little girl and I believe she’s about 10 weeks old. We thought it was more than appropriate to name this little girl Sandy and to welcome her to Dog Ranch Rescue.
