Laura Mckinney is an experienced foster and has fostered for us in the past. She’s from Nacgdoches, Texas and fell in love with our dear Scully. She asked if she could take her home as a foster to adopt and finish her medical care out near her. We were happy to oblige and Scully has now left to her forever home where she will never be starved or treated poorly again.
Scully is now wearing a brand new turquoise collar, has a new bed, and a human who loves her very much.
Her name shall remain as Scully and Laura will keep us updated on how she’s doing on the Happy Tails page.

About Scully:

This sweet mastiff mix was dropped off with another dog, at a shelter by a careless owner who just didn’t want either elderly dog anymore. Luckily for them, Laura and Renee tagged them and reached out to a nearby volunteer who kindly picked both starving dogs up and drove them to the Rescue.

She is now enjoying getting plenty of food as she needs to gain weight. She’s just as sweet as can be and has been very gentle with all dogs she has met. She is resting and getting love at the Ranch until we find her new, perfect home. Enjoy the beginning of a much better life, Scully. ❤️
