Annetta and Stephen Douglas made the long drive up from Bryan, Texas to adopt Shannon Crawford this morning. They had lost their sweet Basset just before Christmas and felt they were ready to give their love to a new dog that needed it. They have a 10yr old terrier mix named Lilly that was missing her friend and was very lonely and needed a playmate. When they saw Shannon Crawford, Annetta knew she was the missing piece that her family was looking for. Along with Lilly, Shannon will also have a cat named Ruthie to keep her company. Stephen works from home and will be able to help her adjust to her new life. What a great family you have little one. I can’t wait to follow it on the Happy Tails page.

About Shannon Crawford:

We were able to secure this girl who is listed as a miniature and toy Aussie Doodle, for goodness sake. She is a red merle, the seller called her a chocolate merle, and why they do that is to command more money for them. You see the public is all into the designer breeds and the merle just makes it that much more popular. She was born on 5/7/15 and is so very lucky to have escaped this industry.
