Breed: French Bulldog
Adopted by: Robert & Leslie Fleury
Robert & Leslie Fleury of Aurora Colorado recently lost their beloved Frenchie, Biscuit, which left a big hole in their hearts. When they were ready, they reached out to DRR with an application for Skipper. Within 2 weeks, Leslie and her friend were flying in to pick up their girl. Skipper will now be Sketters, like spaghetti and she will want for nothing. They are aware of health conditions for Frenchies and Biscuit had developed IVDD toward the end of her life so they already have ramps to the couch and a ramp outside so she can go in their big, fenced yard. The comment that stood out the most in their application was, “Most importantly she will be loved unconditionally” and that is what we strive for all our rescues.
We hope to see you on Happy Tails very soon!
Happy Life Sketters!
Sweet Skipper was surrendered as an already spayed Mill Mama and was so scared when she first came to the Sanctuary. She has quickly left her old life behind, and now parades around the yard with her many different toys! This lovely 5-year-old girl is learning all about what it means to be a real dog, and is starting to really open up to us and even asks for affection and attention. This is quite the improvement, as she was too scared to come out of her crate not even one month ago! We love getting to see Mill dogs learn all about their new lives, and Skipper is deserving of a loving home to spend the rest of her happy days as a beloved pet. She is ready to come home with you today!
