Latest Update:

I’m going to start this day of adoptions with one of my personal favorites…I love this girl…

Sorbet met her new mama today who came all the way from San Diego California with tears flowing, she will fly home in first class and have all the comforts she would ever want.

Katy and Daniel are now her mom and dad and she will most likely be known as Sunshine from now on. She has a Frenchie brother at home named Doug.
Doug and Sunshine will take them everywhere they go and show her what life should have been like from the very beginning.

We are ecstatic to have been able to save this sweet girl from the auction so full of babies, and so underweight due in just a few days. It was so stressful and to see her look so good and happy in her mama’s arms just makes everything we do worth while.

We wish you all the best in your new life filled with Sunshine

About Sorbet:

I met her in the back room and was shocked by how pregnant she was and we were in no way prepared to have a pregnant Frenchie due next Friday.
She was terrified and glued to the floor of her cage, if you can imagine for a minute the fear these dogs have with being transported many times hundreds of miles away in who knows what kind of vehicle, put in a cage in the back room and listen to hundreds of dogs barking all around them, and then have hundreds of people come and gawk at you opening the cage door and poking and prodding at how good you are as their potential merchandise.

She came up on the table and I knew full well that the heat would be on, and on it was. The hands were flying in that building faster than you could even see where they were coming from. I had no intentions of losing and kept battling until it was just me and another Amish mill owner. The auctioneers kept trying to milk the amount up more in $25.00 increments but the Amish guy could see that I wasn’t quitting and that he was not going to win.

She has 5 pups that’s clear to see by the X-ray provided but she will be examined by Dr D and X-rayed again to make sure of how much bone formation the pups have and try and narrow down a very definitive date of labor to begin.

She was born on 7/11/2015 and they said she is a good mother so this isn’t her first litter but we don’t know how many litters she’s had.

Let me introduce you to Sorbet.
