How happy are we to see this little girl Spice off to her forever life…She’s been through hell and back and now its time for her and her alone. Jenn took care of her adoption today at the sanctuary and here’s how it all went:
She was a favorite among the volunteers and was handed to all at the sanctuary for holdy before her new family arrived.
Spice is going to live in Las Vegas with Linda Wallace. In September Linda lost her Bichon to a brain tumor and her sister Laura shared Spice’s story with her and Linda knew that she had to apply for her. Linda is retired and home during the day so Spice will get to enjoy the same situation that she has become accustomed to at Jenn’s home.
Linda came prepared with a fancy red collar and the cutest leopard print coat. Spice will now be known as “Baby Spice Girl”. They will be staying here locally at Linda’s sisters house for a couple of days before heading home to Las Vegas.
Oh Baby Spice Girl, we cant wait to see you flourishing in your new home
About Spice:Yesterday Spice was groomed all clean and fancy and went home to Jenn’s and just crashed and slept. She is an absolute sweetheart, just a lovely little girl.
Dr Reno discovered that she has two big pups in there, one on each side. She went into early labor and delivered both pups, male, but one passed away. Her remaining baby, Clove, is nursing and we hope, getting stronger.
She has a skin infection and ear infection and nasty teeth that can’t be cleaned until her pup is weaned. She weighed in at a shopping 10 pounds and part of that is pups so she’s a very little girl.
Rest up little girl, you’re safe now.
Welcome to DRR, Spice!
