The Ashley family of Anna, Texas came to the ranch today to meet Sultry. They are longtime mastiff owners and the introduction between Sultry and their current English Mastiff, Silver could not have gone better. We are always happy to have a dog stay local to us, and the Ashley family was ecstatic to be able to take home their new dog today. Her name will stay Sultry, as her new human brothers think it will be perfect to have two “S” names. We hope to see both Silver and Sultry on Happy Tails- and maybe even out about town! Happy life to all!

About Sultry:

We were emailed dozens of times and tagged more than that. She was in a shelter in Greenville that said she was an owner surrender with no reasons stated. Travis went down to evaluate her but they wouldn’t allow if so all he could do is observe her with dogs next to her own. He said she was very sweet and quiet and didn’t react to them. We weren’t set up to pull from that shelter so instead of trying to jump through the paperwork hoops Travis plopped down 95 bucks and adopted her. She’s now out and on her way, no clue of how she will be with other dogs once we are able to check but it is what it is.

She’s beautiful with a muscular body. She’s 100% athlete and she’s a very intelligent thinking dog. She

Her name is Sultry and Travis says she just reminds him so much of Joe Joe with her beautiful face, coloring, muscles and gorgeous body.

UPDATE 8/17/2022

She’s beautiful and she’s very athletic, she kid tests very nicely. She does well with large dogs but she’s not a good fit for small fluffy dogs or cats.

This is Sultry and her vetting will be finished soon and ready for a family of her own.
