Steve and Emma Coulston adopted Diamond back in January, such a shy girl that needed such a special adopter. She did so well and flourished in their home but sadly she went into kidney failure last month and they lost her.

Back they came to adopt again and this time the lucky dog was our sweet girl Sunshine. Off she went today to live in Houston, she will have a brother who is a big Rottweiler mix that really loves and needs the company of another dog.

Her new name will be Zoe and we wish them all a very happy long life together…

About Sunshine:

We became aware of this girl in the Ft. Worth shelter about 10 days ago.

We were told then that she was sick and thankfully they ran a PCR test on her, we told them we would tag her but needed to wait for the results so we would know what we were dealing with. The results came back today with adenovirus which sis no big deal so we sent Ricky off to pick up this big gorgeous girl and bring her to the sanctuary to continue recovering from her illness in isolation.

Her paperwork tells us she was a stray with a microchip, when they called the person on the chip they said she belongs to the sister, but nobody ever came for her so she was released to us.
