Miss Swelter waved goodbye to the sanctuary this morning and is off to her new spoiled life with Marissa and Arthur Ivo of Arlington, Texas. She will have two kids at home who could not be more excited to have a new dog. Her name will be Rosie and Marissa came prepared with a brand new pink collar with Rosie’s name etched onto the buckle. We couldn’t be happier to see the last of the Lab’s find her forever home. Happy life, Rosie!
About Swelter:This black Lab is a female who was released from a breeder in Texas. She was born on 5/2/17, so she is 5 years old and was recently spayed. We are always grateful when they release them to rescue because they know they will be taken good care of.

Swelter is an ex mill mama who is 5 years old. Unfortunately she came to us HW positive, so she needs to be treated for that. She’s a very sweet girl who has a touch of goofy in her and someone will be lucky to have her.
