Latest Update:
Trinket is the longest foster that we have had in Dog Ranch Rescue having arrived on September 24, 2016. We battled her health from day one, and I poured my heart and soul into this little girl.
From a prolapsed rectum that needed surgical repair to irritable bowels and being heart worm positive. She spent weeks and weeks at the Ranch, at various foster homes and I even fostered her myself for over a month to try and get her diarrhea under control with my own raw diet. She has spent the last two months with foster mom Pam after and during her heartworm treatment and now, after months and months of treatment and specialists, she finally left to go to the home of Michele and Clyde Wood in Lowell, Arkansas. The Wood family has patiently waited this entire time and never once did they waiver on their love for Trinket.
The Woods adopted our Merengue back in May of last year, and we are looking forward to updates on how Trinket is loving life in Arkansas on the Happy Tails page.
We love you little Trinket with all of our hearts and soul, and we will certainly miss you.
Have a very happy and healthy life!
Trinket is a 2 year old brindle and white female Frenchie. She is adorable and tiny, sweet and gets along well with everyone. She is a mess medically and will take a few months to get her well again, she is covered with infection from head to toe, covered in yeast, and is loaded with heartworms. She will stay with us here at the Ranch until it’s time for her to have heartworm treatment and then she will recover in a foster home.
