We were so happy when this family reached out to Laura and said they would like to welcome Tyr into their home.
This is Curt and Leah Lizzi from Katy Texas are two time adopters with Claire the Mastiff and Jody the Lab.
They came to meet home today and they just loved him. Travis went over routines with Tyr wearing a wrap and continuing his work with housebreaking now that he is neutered and won’t feel the need to pee on everything which is what cost him his home to begin with.
They are unsure of what his name will be but Phil is an option which we just love. They are on the happy tails page already and hope to see him living his best new life.
We wish all of them nothing but the best.

To all bear lovers this is a very handsome new rescue that came to us today. He is 2 years old. He is intact. He lived in a home with 5 kids and 2 other dogs. His family said they cannot housebreak him and that he will pee on everything even though the door to the outside is always open. They requested that the rescue take him and find him a home that could.
We said bring him to us please and a few minutes later here he was. Mr. Pee Pee pants, challenge accepted. First stop, peach removal, second stop, a bad boy wrap, third stop correction, correction and some more correction.
His name is Tyr and that is pronounced “Teer” he knows his name and we don’t want to change it, so here he is.

This boy is beautiful inside and outside; his nature is classic Bordeaux, just a sweet, low key easy boy who gets along with all dogs large and small.
He needs a home and if you look at how easy of a placement he should be and how we don’t have applications for him then you can understand we have a situation to contend with. We need the power of the village to speak loud and strong and get these dogs as we talk about them thousands upon thousands of shares. It’s literally the only way, and we are blessed to have this kind of reach, and by golly we need to use it.

Big handsome Tyr is a tired boy after many days at the ranch. 
He’s vetted and ready to go and we can’t believe as handsome and good as he is that people aren’t beating the door down for him!
UPDATE 4/20/2022
Handsome boy Tyr is doing great at the ranch. So far he has never lifted his leg to pee inside the building. Neutering will take place as quickly as we can get him on the schedule, as well as a complete exam for anything else he may need.
