Look who got adopted?
Little man Uptown has recovered from his snake bite and met his new mama and daddy.
Foster mom Millie facilitated his adoption and told us all this wonderful story about his new family:
“Rhonda and Billy Caraway’s Jack Russell died last year and it had been hard to think about another dog.. they just weren’t ready. Rhonda has been following Lone Star Dog Ranch for about 1-1/2 years and had decided when she was ready it would be through them. She came home after her son’s graduation from college thinking maybe she’d start looking and there he was…Uptown. No applications.. no one wanted the male Renee had said. One look in his eyes and she was hooked. A few words with Billy and her application was sent in and they were chosen as his new family.. but something else happened …… when Rhonda and Billy went out to meet Uptown on his back porch it was like they had know each other forever.. Uptown was beside himself with happiness and ran right to them .. jumped in their arms and started kissing them (this from a little dog that likes to run and play catch me if you can). It was like it was meant to be all along.. He had been waiting just for them… it made my heart so happy to see such love.”
We are thrilled this little man is healthy and happy and forever loved.
From the New York group this is one of the Boston Terrier puppies no longer wanted by the breeder and given away for free. Too old for her broker to buy so she doesn’t want him any more. We don’t know how old he is but we are guessing 12 weeks.
Say hello to Uptown!
