- Sweet Velma was pulled from DAS after being impounded as a stray with her pup. Her pup was quickly adopted but Velma was left behind. She was under weight and sadly Heartworm positive as well. Luckily she landed with DRR, and after a few weeks in Isolation she is doing great with everyone at the sanctuary. She likes to have the fluffiest blankets in her den, as well as a warm sweater while she’s out in the yard! She has tons of personality and will do tornado spins at mealtime! Velma also loves to throw toys around outside, followed by a nap in the sun. Doberman lovers, this girl is a catch!
