Latest Update:
The gate rang and I answered it and she said I’m here for Pearl…I chuckled knowing that I don’t have a Pearl here, but I knew I did have White who was waiting for her new mama to come and take her home.
Heather Stephenson from New Orleans, LA, lost her beloved Dachshund after 15 years and was ready to open her heart to a new rescue and White was the lucky candidate for her to do just that. She promised to make sure White has a kiddie pool at home because this girl loves the water. White, now known as Pearl, is a big girl so her mama is off on a driving road trip with her new all the way to New Orleans. Pearl is the first foster that will be headed home with her martingale leash the village provided. It makes me feel much more at ease knowing that she will be safe along her journey home.
Have a very happy life, Pearl!
About White:Update:
White was such a scared girl in a cage when reached for, she would tremble all over. She has come a long way and is a happy girl outside of the crate, she is a water girl and loves the pool and loves digging all of the water out of the kiddie pools. She’s great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. she’s cat tested and approved and ready to find her home.
She was the oldest Frenchie in the June auction, born 1/27/13. She’s spent five long years breeding for greedy mill owners but now she’s free. She’s shy and unsure but she will come around with Julie showing her all the love and care she should’ve had from the very beginning.
Say hello to White…
