Winnie the Pooh met her new mom today. She is going to live with Nancy Phipps in Carrollton TX. Nancy recently lost her 16 year old blind mini poodle. Her name was Winnie Hamilton and Nancy said she looked just like Winnie the Pooh. Nancy feels like Winnie Hamilton led her to find Winnie the Pooh to help heal her heart. Nancy has a self proclaimed zoo at her house and is no stranger to rescuing dogs. She loves all critters, especially seniors and special needs. Winnie the Pooh’s new home includes a 13 year old cat named Mordecai, an 11 year old Maltese mix named Esther, a 9 year old pitty/beagle mix named Mabelline, a 5 year old cat named Martha Washington, and a 2 year old pitty/sharpei mix named Riggins. Winnie the Pooh loves to play and cuddle with other dogs so we know she will fit right in. She will now be known as Sweet Pea. She turned 6 years old on October 10th and Nancy is excited to throw a little party to celebrate this weekend. Have a fabulous life Sweet Pea!
