Witherspoon has left the building! Dennitta & Jeff Piilola arrived so excited to meet their new girl and to begin the long drive home to Aurora, CO. She will be greeted by two furry brothers, a Shih Tzu and a Pekingese. Also waiting anxiously at home is a human sister. Jeff is retired, Dennitta works at home and their daughter is doing college work online, so Witherspoon will have lots of people to snuggle with throughout the day. The Piilolas love to camp and take their dogs with them, so Witherspoon will be in for some adventures. They are thinking of naming her Mia and will let us know what they decide on Happy Tails. Have a wonderful life sweet girl!
This is the oldest mama we acquired. My heart always goes to the older girls and this girl has a precious face. She was born on 2/20/14, so sadly she has lived for over 6 long years as a breeder mama, which is a damn shame.

We will be naming her Jacki Witherspoon. She’s a triage paramedic in a hospital in Mansfield. She was diagnosed with Covid on Thursday and it’s already developed into pneumonia in her right lung! We love animals and love our rescues even more!

Witherspoon is a volunteer favorite, a sweetheart, good with all of the other dogs, but she’s the oldest Frenchie in our rescue at age 6. She will be 7 in February and the older girls don’t get as much attention or applications.
