Latest Update:

And just like that, the last King Charles Cavalier has been adopted! As we’ve shared with the other placements, we were truly grateful for every application we received. They were both a blessing and a challenge—so many wonderful families made it incredibly difficult to choose the perfect home for each of these young Cavaliers.
Bonne Bell, the oldest girl of the group at about 1.5 years, was actually the first to be chosen by the Kaler family. They lost their beloved Lady in April to heart issues. As experienced Cavalier owners, they understand that heart problems can be part of the breed, yet their love for these special dogs never wavers.
John works from home, and Courtney works just a mile away and has summers off—an ideal setup for a dog who thrives on companionship. Bonne Bell will join them on camping trips (or more accurately, “glamping,” complete with air conditioning). They also promised that her life from here on out will be wonderfully bougie: filtered water, fluffy pillows, and all the comforts a Cavalier deserves.
The family’s two daughters are already smitten. In fact, during a school Christmas shop, their youngest daughter used her own money to buy a stocking just for their soon‑to‑arrive pup. The gesture was a complete surprise and melted everyone’s hearts.
Her new name will come once her personality shines through, but one thing is certain: her future is filled with love, comfort, and joy.
Wishing you the very best, sweet girl—your beautiful new chapter begins now.
