About Oy Vey:
Another update on Oy Vey
She has had her palate trimmed so she should be able to play and breathe very soon now.
Oy Vey quick update…
Oy Vey had her spay and palate surgery on Friday. While she was under, they also repaired a hernia and got her started on her initial vaccinations — she really went for the full package! Let’s just say she’s not thrilled with me at the moment. When we got home she wouldn’t even look at me and kept her back to me (I’m working hard to win her back over 💔).
She was a bit restless Friday evening but is doing much better today. She’s drinking and has gone out to pee, which is great. She hasn’t been interested in food yet, and taking her medicine has been a firm “no thank you,” so I’ve had to help her with that. And the cone? Absolutely not — that was a big no from Oy Vey, so I let her be overnight. I’ll try a recovery suit today and see if that’s more her style.
For now, our sweet girl is resting and letting the healing begin. 💕
Ck out the looks I’m getting….

Pup date from Millie:

Oy Vey checking in… 💕

Oy Vey has been here a few days now, and we’re already seeing progress. When she first arrived, she wanted nothing to do with blankets — now she’s curled up right in the middle of them. I consider that a win for this little girl.
She’s still very scared around people and will “pancake” when unsure, but around other dogs she completely lights up and just wants to play. She has firmly said “no” to the leash for now, so she’s being carried in and out — but she does her business like a pro and hasn’t had a single accident. Smart girl!
Oy Vey does have an elongated palate that will need to be corrected, so I’ve been keeping her calm and activity low. She has an appointment Friday morning with Dr. Spencer, and if all goes well she’ll have her spay, palate correction, and vaccinations done at the same time.
I know once she can breathe more comfortably, she’s going to feel so much better — and that’s when her new life will truly begin. 💗

This little girl came with no info in the catalog other than a birthday and that it was a kennel sellout. I assure you there is more to know about her than that and we will learn all about her and find her a great home.

Female FB born on 2/1/23 she just had her 3rd and last birthday living in a mill.
