Today was Ronnie’s day to move on to his new home. He is being adopted by Melissa and Michael Hatch from Savannah, TX. Melissa and her daughter Maddie came to the adoption today and were so excited to meet their new puppy. Ronnie will have two teenage kids to spoil him rotten. He will also be living with two fur siblings – a Boston Terrier named Penny and a Dachshund named Trevor. The family lost their chocolate Lab about 2 years ago and were looking to add another since they love the breed so much. Ronnie will now be known as Ollie. This will be the family’s first puppy as they have always rescued adult dogs. Everyone in the family is home with work and school right now and they are all ready to spend lots of time with this sweet boy to help with his training to become the best dog he can be.

About Ronnie:

This boy puppy is in a purple collar and was never announced yesterday, so I will share with you like the others who he is being named after.

I’d like to nominate my grandfather, Charles “Ronnie” Pollan, who passed away from Covid last week (11/2/20). He was from Memphis, TN. He loved dogs. He’d always give them people scraps. He was a Navy veteran, fireman, and owned his own business C.R. Pollan Paving Co. in Memphis. He is greatly missed by his family and friends.

We will call this little boy Ronnie
