Little Taylor Swift was adopted today by Lori Pennington from Katy, Texas. She will be welcomed into her new home by another mini poodle Buckingham that is her same size and also came from our rescue a year ago. This little girl is so lucky to have escaped a puppy mill life and now will only know love and care as the cherished pet of Lori. With Lori working from home she will have lots of time to get her acclimated to her new life and we are so happy she has a home for the holidays!

Taylor Swift was very lucky to escape commercial breeding so young. She is a very demure little poodle, and we are just now starting to see her sweet personality shine here at the sanctuary. She will take time to relax and open up in her forever home, but with patience she will thrive. Taylor would benefit from other confident dogs to mirror, and help bring her out of her shell. She does need to stay on prescription eye drops, as her eyes do not produce adequate tears, which is very common in poodles. She does well for her eyedrops and loves a tasty treat afterwards! Taylor will be the perfect dog for someone who understands that her tough start to life does not have to define her future.
