Tribble

Adopted!
New Name:
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male
Breed: Mixed Breed
Weight:
Current Location: Fort Worth, TX
Adoption Date: July 15, 2018
Adopted by: Jane Williamson
Latest Update:

Our little Tribble had a liver shunt and from the time he was in the care of our veterinary team he never once fell ill and was diagnosed and surgically repaired to be a normal happy healthy little man. All it took was some money, and giving a darn about him, we did both.

Today Tribble met his new mama, Jane Williamson from Ft. Worth. Jane just recently lost her husband and is staying with her daughter in Tennessee for now and we know that Tribble will bring her some much needed joy in her life after losing her husband.

Foster mom Danielle who has been caring for Tribble from day one handled the adoption and she messaged us with this info:

Tribble is HOME! He has struck the jackpot with Jane. She has beds, a crate, a small dog door – toys, blankets. He just melted into her – he was instantly comfortable with her.
She had family members there to welcome him and several others calling and Face-Timing to welcome him. Of course Maddie my daughter and I cried saying good-bye, but we felt that he was in the perfect home.

He has a wonderful new family and will have everything he could ever want or need! Another job well done by Dog Ranch Rescue I don’t know how you manage to find these perfect homes!

Happy life everyone!!

About Tribble:

Gabby who is a friend and works at San Antonio Pet’s Alive contacted us about this little 2lb Morkie. Apparently he was the property of a guy named JT who owns and operates not one, but two Petland stores in San Antonio. I’ve told everyone many times that Petland puppies come from puppy mills….100% of the time, no if’s and’s or butt’s..

We agreed to take this little man who’s so small he will fit in your pocket. At only three months old, blood work showed him to be very anemic, very low albumin, elevated white blood cell count and some kind of problem with either his hip or his hock.

Dr. D consulted with Dr. Rolfe who ordered bile acid studies done to check his liver. Those were done and the results showed them to be very high, indicative of a liver shunt. He was taken into surgery where the shunt was corrected and now this little handsome man is doing extremely well. He is expected to live a normal life without any issues.

We are now taking applications for him, he’s full of life and is all puppy. He is half Yorkie and half Maltese which is what we are told.

All applicants that apply for him will need to have a stay at home, work from home, or take to work situation. It’s our requirement for any pups in our rescue.

Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue, Tribble!
