The rums that make up the Appleton Estate 21 Year Old are carefully selected by Master Blender – Joy Spence for their unique character, flavor, and bouquet. These rums, which have aged for a minimum of 21 years, are hand-blended using proven Appleton techniques and then placed in oak barrels for one year to allow the blend to marry.
The distillate itself is simply delicious, with extraordinary richness and an incredible creamy mouthfeel. Despite its excellent age, the rum avoids over-saturation, with an outstanding balance between the barrel and the spirit
