Casa Dragones was founded in 2009 by Bertha González Nieves, the first female Maestra Tequilera certified by the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila, and Robert W. Pittman, visionary entrepreneur and media innovator best known for his role as the co-founder of MTV and Chairman & CEO of iHeartMedia.
The two met at a party in New York City, where they quickly discovered a shared entrepreneurial spirit and a mutual love for tequila.
