Latest Update:
Alli came to us as an animal cruelty case—fragile, sick, and needing time in ISO to heal from a skin condition and respiratory infection. We thought she’d be with us for a while. But then came an application from Dr. Jennifer Schaefer, a vet from Pelzer, SC, who treats skin issues daily and wasn’t the least bit deterred.
Alli hadn’t met other dogs yet, but Jennifer has four gentle pups so once out of ISO, Alli got to meet the rest of the dogs at the Sanctuary and it went very well. So Jennifer flew out, met Alli, and the connection was instant. During her overnight in Dallas, Jennifer shared that Alli was “already well adjusted—she’s just so sweet.”
Her name stays Alli, and her new life begins with love.
We got a request from the shelter in Fort Worth asking if we would help this girl. She was part of a cruelty case and was surrendered. No idea what is wrong with her but Ricky picked her up and drove her over to Dr Reno’s to be seen today and try and get to the bottom of what the issue is.
