Adopted!
New Name:
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Breed: French Bulldog
Weight: 25 pounds
Current Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Adoption Date: August 14, 2022
Adopted by: Carolyn Collins
Latest Update:

Anna has officially packed up her naughty pants and is on her way to Oklahoma City, OK where her furever home will be! Without any other younger kids or dogs around, Carolyn Collins spends most of her time at home and has been looking for herself a companion to spoil and love for a while now. Once she saw Anna and all her spunkiness, Carolyn knew she was the one and needed to take her home fast. It was an instant connection upon meeting, which ended with Carolyn jumping with excitement as she was packing her up in the car for their first road trip ahead. She will be keeping her name as Anna or Anna Banana as she likes to call her since she responds to her name so well. She has been introduced to Happy Tails and promised to keep us updated on how she is settling in. Until then, have a spunky life in OK Anna Banana!🍌

About Anna:
This is a 5 year old female Frenchie with a pretty bad ear and a very frightened face. It’s okay honey, it’s all going to be okay.

Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue Anna

UPDATE 8/8/2022

Anna is one of those Frenchies that seems to fall through the cracks and hasn’t yet found a home of her own. A volunteer favorite, silly, sweet and affectionate.

UPDATE 7/25/2022
She’s 5 years old, she’s got her nails all painted, her pearls on and her best sweater to show off how cute she is.
The only thing she is missing is a mama or a daddy to call her own. This is Anna, her vetting is all finished, she’s ready to walk out that door right now with the right family, and now we search for her that for her. Here are her issues, she does not like dominant females, she would do much better in a home with male dogs as long as they aren’t wild puppies. She can have issues with resource guarding of her things, she requires a home that will be respectful of that and remove things that cause problems as opposed to trying to live with the things that cause the problems. She is a very happy sweet girl that has done well with 85% of the dogs at the sanctuary males and females but not dominant females like Lady Mary.

If you think you might be looking for a sweet girl to love and Anna sounds like a dog that might be a good fit for you, then put in an application.

UPDATE 7/14/2022
Some of these dogs in the rescue are not so easy to figure out. Lady Mary, Anna, Portia. They are all dominant females, but who they pick and choose that they don’t like can be like a high school girl click. I like her, but I don’t like her. She likes her, but she doesn’t like me. 😂🤣

Lady Mary and Portia by the common criteria wouldn’t like each other, but they do. We are not. I repeat, we are not identifying who these girls will be compatible with. A decision will be made on a case by case basis. Don’t hesitate to apply for these girls as they are very fun girls who are social with most, but have knives for some. Sometimes people think that they won’t apply for this one or that one because they are problematic, but you need to know that the likes are way bigger than the dislikes.

UPDATE 7/7/2022

Anna needs a specific home, she will bring out her switchblades and fight with other mill mamas that are dominant in a second. She is fine with males, and even females that are not dominant.
