About Autumn Dove:

This is our very pregnant mama Lab. Clearly we can all see that she will deliver Lab pups very soon. Our bidder loved her and was the first dog she texted me about and now here she is. She was born on 4/8/16 and will absolutely be having the last litter ever and when she is done we promise to find her a home that will cherish her for her and not her baby making skills. She will be escorted directly to Maternity Manor this afternoon.

Her family has nominated their Aunt Louise, who preferred to be known by her Native name of “Autumn Dove”.

She lost her life to COVID-19, despite a valiant fight. She loved her kids and grandkids with her whole being and Her husband of 40+ years too. Facebook memories break my heart every day. I didn’t think much of it when she was alive, but she always had a “like” or a comment on her every Facebook post I made it would be a great honor to Autumn Dove to have a rescue animal carry on her loving and vibrant legacy.

UPDATE 11/26/2020

Autumn Dove was examined and x-rayed where we found she has 5 to 6 pups in there that are almost ready to be born. She also has a what appears to be a sac with perhaps a pup that didn’t calcify properly. When we see this we start her on Clavamox hoping to manage or prevent any infection that might develop with an abnormal pup that isn’t alive.

Only time will tell if she will give birth to live healthy puppies but for now we can hope and pray for them to all be born healthy,
