Barrett is off to live with Jeff Gibbs and Alex Zuniga from Santa Fe, NM and their 11 year old Bearded Collie named Roscoe. He will enjoy living on 12 acres in Santa Fe with two work from home dads. They currently walk their dog Roscoe twice a day for thirty minutes and that will work perfectly to get out all of that puppy energy. He will have the good Scottish name of Angus and they are keeping his current name.

About Barrett:

This is the second Bearded Collie boy. Very cute as you can see, this breed requires a lot of grooming so always keep that in mind before selecting any dog to adopt.

He’s a boy but we will be naming him after a girl and using her last name.

He will be named after Stephanie Barrett (and we will call him Barrett), she’s an RN who graduated nursing school at the start of the pandemic. She immediately signed up to practice in Louisiana knowing that it was a major covid hotspot. She’s an amazing women, nurse and friend. It would be amazing to see a pup named for her. She’s a LSDRR supporter, fan and village member and hopes to one day be an adopter.
