As mentioned in Smoke’s adoption story, we had two wonderful applications come in — Smoke was adopted by one family, and now it’s BB King’s turn!

• We’re often asked if we adopt out of state, and the answer is yes, we do! BB King was whisked away to New Hampshire by his new parents, Mark Matarozzo and Sue Danner. They made a mini vacation out of it, stopping in Nashville (being the music fans they are!) before visiting the Ranch, where we were able to have Ricky join them for the adoption.

BB handled the long trip like a champ, enjoying both the car rides and hotel stays. He’s now settling into his new home with a new name — Ziggy — and his family has promised to keep us updated on his adventures.

We’re so thankful for our amazing village for sharing and supporting both BB and Smoke. Finding “only dog” homes can be a challenge, but thanks to everyone’s help, these two boys found their perfect matches!

Foster mom, Trish, says that he is great on walks, great with dogs & cats and full of energy.  He would thrive in an active home!  Now he is transferred over to the Ranch, he has strolled in here like a boss and thinks this place is pretty dang fun. He is pretty much a perfect frenchie.  All the love plus all the fun!

The third new rescue of the 3 that I talked about up in Oklahoma is this guy, Trish got a call from a friend he was on someone’s porch suffering from heat exhaustion. She quickly drove to pick him up and get him to Dr. Roach. He has no microchip, he was reported to the Oklahoma shelter with no luck finding an owner.
