Beans

Adopted!
New Name:
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Breed: French Bulldog
Weight:
Current Location: Fat Cave
Adoption Date: February 8, 2025
Adopted by: Steve Townley
Latest Update:

Between poems written from the Fat Cave @ Skull Lodge, Steve Townley, has been very secretive about which dog he might adopt. He already has quite a cast of characters at the Fat Cave because he adopts dogs that have little or no interest and sweet Beans is now one of them! Beans will go join Gladys (who he thinks is about 10 years old and has Spina Bifida), Chester (who also has Spina Bifida), Tillie & Missy Deaux. Beans was such a good girl at the Sanctuary that we were surprised she had not been adopted yet. But, now that she has a name change to Bertie, we hear she is already complaining about her collar, the food, the accommodations, the new family…or is she complaining as she really is not one to complain. Perhaps she is channeling Agnes with her missing eye(s). You will be missed Bertie, but we could not imagine a better home for you! Have a happy life with Fat Man and we are positive we will see you on Happy Tails very soon.

About Beans:
12/26/24 Update:
Beans is a very funny girl that loves tummy scratches and is a pro at Frenchie face wrestling.  She has a lot of energy and likes toys.  She can be possessive with toys but is the most correctable of the group.  She does get along with the group and her best friend is Ohtani.
Should Beans with her quintessential frenchie personality be in your future?
_______________________________________________________________________UPDATE;
Beans is not pregnant.
We have three French Bulldogs that we took in yesterday. I am unsure what their story is, this person had them, stated she gave them to another person and this one ended up assumably pregnant. She took them back and was looking for a rescue. That’s all I have.
This girl looks to be bred, she has a pretty wide belly, supposed to be 3 years old and no clue how she lost her eye. Jenn will be picking her up today to take home while we wait to get her examined this week.
Say hello to Beans.
