Latest Update:

Bianca was our most timid Frenchie girl at the Sanctuary, so it feels perfectly fitting that she has found her forever family with John and Vicki Kelly of Monroe, LA. The Kellys first adopted Batusi back in 2016, during the early days of Dog Ranch Rescue. Renamed Harper, she had spent three long years in a cage and arrived deeply shut down. With patience and love, the Kellys gave her the time she needed to blossom, and she went on to enjoy nine wonderful years as Vicki’s cherished companion until her passing this October.
Now, Bianca—newly named Zelda—will join their home and become Vicki’s sidekick, alongside her Frenchie sibling Angus, John’s dog. We can’t wait to see updates as she begins to flourish in this loving environment.
11/17/25 Pupdate:
Bianca and Katya are best friends at the Sanctuary, but now it’s Bianca’s turn to find a home of her own. She’s playful and fun-loving with Katya and would really enjoy having another dog in the home to keep her company and help her feel secure.
She’s not one to be pushed around—Bianca will let another dog know if they’re getting on her nerves, but she’s fair and respectful about it. With people, she’s a bit cautious at first. During Ricky’s Raffle tours, she mostly kept her distance and gave a few barks to say, “I see you!” But with the staff she knows, she’s relaxed and affectionate—happy to be picked up and get gentle head scratches. She’s still a little shy with hands, but she’s come a long way and would continue to blossom in a patient home.
Bianca enjoys sunbathing, chewing on a bone now and then, and settles nicely in her den overnight. She’s a quiet, observant girl who just needs a soft place to land and a dog buddy to help show her the ropes.

So yesterday we got word that 5 French Bulldogs needed to be rescued. The breeder had been shut down and needed them gone now. It’s always gotta be pretty bad for a breeder to be shut down, because so much bullcrap is tolerated by their living conditions. Anyway we said yes, and late afternoon they arrived. I will share them with you one at a time, with the limited information that I have.
What the “breeder” said was only one of them was worthy of breeding the others are too ugly to try and make puppies and sell them. Except for one.
Adoption fee $600
