And just like that, Billie has been adopted! Previous adopters Paul and Lindsey Manley of Sherman, Texas, headed home with their beautiful new girl. It might be the first time in recent memory that the Ranch staff weren’t trying very hard to help get a dog adopted—Billie was only with them for two days, and she had a special kind of magic that just didn’t show well while she was up in Oklahoma. They secretly hoped to keep her all to themselves, but she was clearly meant for bigger things.

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The Manleys lost their beloved Tilly (formerly Maleficent) in October and hadn’t been ready to think about another dog—until they saw Billie’s sparkle. One phone call led to a same‑day meet and greet (we suspect Lindsey couldn’t quite get everything lined up at home that fast but was simply too excited not to meet her), and the very next day, she was adopted.

Lindsey arrived with her two daughters for the adoption, and it was the sweetest introduction. Everyone was instantly head over heels for her. A new name is still in the works, but we’ve already heard that she’s absolutely obsessed with Paul—though she was more than happy to hop from lap to lap soaking up every bit of love she deserves.
