Bree was adopted a couple years ago and was recently returned when the family fell on hard times. She has been a medical puzzle for us since arriving, she is losing albumin and cholesterol and we ran tests to see if perhaps she had Addisons disease but that came back negative. Dr. Reno consulted with an internist and the assumption at this point is its IBD displaying itself in not the most common way. She was taken in yesterday to run a full GI panel on her, she’s been started on low dose steroids and hydrolyzed food to see if we can get her bloodwork to improve.
