Tiny, shy girl Cheesecake went to her new home today. Lyle and Linda Wiggs from McKinney, TX were happy to be taking their little girl home where they can start spoiling her.
The Wigg’s were the family that were all set to adopt our sweet little Poodle Pineapple when she had a catastrophic medical event and quickly passed away. They were devastated and needed a little time but when they were ready they decided they wanted to open their heart to this very shy little Shih Tzu who will need lots of time and patience.
Both are retired so they are looking forward to spending time with her to help her adjust to a loving home. They’ve chosen Winnie for her new name.
Have a happy life, sweet girl!
This sweet girl has lived her whole life in a mill producing puppies for pet stores. Cheesecake was born on 1/25/13 so she just had her 7th birthday living in a mill. It absolutely breaks my heart that this is all she has known for so long. She was the oldest Shih Tzu in the auction and I’m so glad our bidder got her for us. The years of being in the mill have made it a big scary world for her. She is very shy with humans and does not react or interact with other dogs. Right now she is just trying to understand what this freedom is all about.
