Crush

File this adoption in the this was meant to be file! Gina, who now lives in TX, first saw Crush’s story on a Facebook page in Longview, Texas. His situation really tugged at her heart especially with his injury. She is a previous owner of a Shiba Inu that was her heart dog that unfortunately passed away in 2023, so she has experience with the breed, then once we rescued him, she realized how close she was to the Sanctuary. She already loved him, but her biggest concern was if Crush would be hindered by the loss of his leg. To her surprise, when she drove up, Crush was outside running back and forth along the fence and you couldn’t even notice his missing leg while he was running. Fortunately, his fur will grow back and his spirit for life never left even through his surgery. Gina’s feedback when she got him home is that “He’s SUCH a good boy!♥️” and we couldn’t agree more!

Crush will crush this new life and we hope to see him on Happy Tails!
