Oh, Dag Nabbit! This sweet boy had several applications lined up, while poor little Sweet Moses didn’t get a single one—go figure.
Today was the big day for Dag Nabbit, who headed off to his new home with the Woods family in McKinney, TX. After losing two of their senior dogs, they were ready to welcome new heartbeats into their home. One of their daughters had her heart set on a pup who could sleep with her at night, and Dag Nabbit fit that wish perfectly. The family is familiar with the breed and already knows to keep an eye out for potential heart murmurs.
DN will have three girls to adore him, a mom who has summers off, and a dad who works part‑time from home—plenty of company and attention for a growing pup. He’ll also have a big sister, Gracie, their eight‑year‑old Goldendoodle, who’s ready to show him the ropes and help him settle in.
As you can imagine, the family has tossed around plenty of name ideas, but no final decision yet. So Dag Nabbit he remains for now (don’t the names from this rescue group just crack you up?). What we do know is that he’s stepping into a life filled with love, laughter, and all the comforts a little guy could hope for.
