Her name, well she always seemed like a flower to me of some kind, but none of them fit, so how about a small compact bouquet of flowers which is what Posie means. Her middle name has two associations, one is Claire from Outlander, she does come from the group of dogs we acquired in Scotland so she will always carry that. The second is a nod to Clairee, a name I loved so much, and a dog I lost so quickly after opting to take her home. I will add a note that came from our bidder at the auction, she picks the dogs she opts to try and get for us.

Somehow the stars aligned for me and for her, I was had with her first photo just like it always happens. I tried and told tell Terrie to hurry up and find her a home but then that gets thrown into the ether, and before I know it she’s whisked to the ranch and her little cockeyed eyes are peering through the little window in the office door.
