Della

About a year ago, Kevin Knight and Page Sema adopted Kevin—now Knox—so Ivy could have a buddy. Since the two of them have been getting along beautifully, the family decided it was time to come back for another dog: Della. We always love seeing previous adopters return. They already know the process, they’ve kept us updated on their pups, and we know what kind of home they provide. Of course, we don’t adopt only to previous adopters—we match each dog to the home that fits them best, and we’re always honest when a particular dog isn’t the right fit.

Now, back to Della. She had quite a few applications, and we truly appreciate everyone who applied. Knox’s home stood out, and when they brought him for a meet & greet, it went exactly how we hoped—sniff, ignore, sniff again. A perfect match.

They haven’t settled on a name yet and want to try a few at home to see what she responds to. From surrendered dog to a loving family in just a few short weeks, Della’s story has taken a wonderful turn. We couldn’t be happier for her.
