When Jill Jackson first came to the sanctuary to adopt Maren—now Kat Harvey—we had just received a transport full of dogs, so the adoption had to take place right in the parking lot. This time around, Dennis had been transferred to the Ranch, and since Jill was also having her dogs evaluated for a possible stay there, it only made sense to move the adoption to that location.

Dennis was introduced to his new sister and brother, Casper, under the watchful and experienced eyes of the Ranch staff. You couldn’t ask for a better meet-and-greet, especially with a team so skilled in dog behavior. Dennis—now JT McFadden (can anyone guess the theme?)—even received his new matching Goyard harness. He’ll need to grow into it a bit, but Jill assured us that’s a task she’s more than happy to take on… especially since she makes their food!

With that, we say goodbye and wish JT a lifetime filled with love, vittles, and happiness.

About Dennis:

We were asked to help this boy in a shelter in Lancaster Texas, stray hold is up and you guessed it, nobody came.

Ricky went to pick him up this morning, he has beens scrubbed clean, got a medicated bath for his red and irritated feet. He will be off to see Dr. Reno tomorrow and take a look at his medical needs.
