Carly Evans drove up from Allen this afternoon to pick up her pickle! Dill was SO excited to meet his new momma that he had to run zoomie laps around the lobby during his adoption. He also flipped over on his back for all the pets. Carly is in love and Dill’s new name will be Frankie. He will be an only dog, have his mama all to himself and no little kids in sight, I know this boy will be spoiled spoiled spoiled and will have the best life. See you on Happy Tails, Frankie!

About Dill:

We were only successful with one little male and what a cutie he is. All of the Frenchies we rescued came from the mill owned by Mary Smith, she has been breeding dogs for a very long time, she has been listed on the horrible 100 list, and the 12 dirty dozen list but guess what it doesn’t matter, she just keeps on doing what she does.

UPDATE 3/27/2022

Sometimes an adoption just doesn’t work regardless of how hard the family tries and this family tried very hard. Dill was adopted back in November and his family loved him so very much, but Dill doesn’t handle the excited energy of the kids in the house and he has nipped them a few times. They had Aaron Stewart come in and worked at trying to solve it, but it just hasn’t worked out. So reluctantly we asked them to please return him so we could find a home for him with no children. This was very difficult for his family as you can imagine, but it’s what had to happen.

We will be looking for a new home for him right away and of course no children will need to be in the equation.
