We sent off Dolly to her forever life she was the last of the 4 Bordeaux’s all rescued from a mill that live together, her sisters Tammy, and Reba have already left and Merle Haggard as well.
Yesterday was Dolly’s turn and her new family is Allison & Deric Legg from Keller, TX
They had just lost their 5 year old Dogue de Bordeaux named Whiskey two months ago to osteosarcoma. It devasted their entire family. He is they reason they fell in love with the breed, they knew he could never be replaced but this breed holds a special place in their hearts.
There are 4 adults living in the home so somebody is always home and they even have the ability to take a dog to work.
Dolly will have a sister named Winnie, English Bulldog that is 10 years old. She only goes outside to do her business and the occasional times she like to sunbathe. She is 100% couch potato. She is currently undergoing immuno therapy IV treatments for skin condition. She sleeps in bed with them and we are sure Dolly will enjoy being spoiled just like her new sister.

- Dolly is the 3rd sister to be taken into rescue and removed from life as a commercial breeding dog in Missouri. She has an awesome disposition and is doing very well integrating into the pack at the sanctuary. She loves mealtime almost as much as she enjoys affection from the Sanctuary staff. She has no major health issues, and we look forward to seeing this lovely DDB blossom!
