The Anderson family from Hollister California previously adopted our beautiful Frenchie Cabriolet. They contacted us a few weeks ago asking us who needed to be adopted? They didn’t care what breed, they didn’t care what sex, and they didn’t care how old.
I immediately suggested Dozer because he is a fabulous 7 year old Bordeaux that we rescued from a shelter in Ohio and he deserved the best of the best.
The Anderson family would be traveling this week to Ft. Worth for a barreling racing completion for their daughter and wanted to come and meet Dozer which they did on Saturday. He loved them, they loved him and they told Dozer they would be back on Tuesday to take him home with a long drive back to California.
Today was the day for Dozer to finally be on his way to his forever life with a family that opened their heart to any dog in need and Dozer was the lucky one. How fantastic it is to have a family make this kind of an offer, it warms the heart and makes us so happy for this very special wonderful dog who will live out his days loved the way he always should have been.

Dozer is such a sweet and happy boy that loves people and wants to bond fast with them. He can really care less about the other dogs and pays them no mind so that’s a plus. He’s very curious about the pond but hasn’t gone for a full swim yet. I bet he will when the weather heats up and he settles in. His body shows the scars of years of neglect but he has a heart of gold.
