The last of Sally Carrera’s puppies was adopted today. Melanie and Sherif Mityas from Plano, TX came to the sanctuary along with their two daughters Jade and Mackenzie to meet Dynamite. They have been counting down the days until they could cuddle this little fluff ball but had some travel plans that kept them from adopting on the day that the other puppies met their families. As luck would have it, delaying the adoption date meant that Mackenzie would be home from overseas to meet Dynamite too. Everyone took turns snuggling with him and he did his best laid back puppy impression. They were warned that after a good nap, this 9 week old firecracker will show them all of his puppy energy. They haven’t had a young puppy in the house for 18 years and are looking forward to experiencing all the puppy stages again. He will be the only dog in the home and will be spoiled rotten by his new family. They have decided to call him Cooper. He learned his new name while staying at his foster home and has been doing great with potty training so far. He is a smart boy and we are sure he will pick up the routine at his new house quickly.
