Say hello to Egg Roll

UPDATE 4/29/2022

Checking in on Egg Roll our sweet girl that had to go straight to surgery with Pyometra after being rescued.

Egg Roll here! The world is terrifying and everything in it is too. She prefers to be in the crate and will only come out when we take her out. She likes our pack and they like her. She doesn’t complain about anything and wants nothing more but to be loved. We tell her daily she’s safe, she’s loved and we show affection even if she isn’t sure what it is. Her progress is showing in just the short time we’ve had her. She’s an absolute gem and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

UPDATE 4/25/2022

Egg Roll has been picked up from the hospital and will be going to a foster home to recover from emergency surgery with Pyo.

Sweet girl has absolutely been swept up in a whirlwind and we are forever grateful that she landed with us.

UPDATE 4/24/2022

Egg Roll was a dog that was a private deal with an Amish mill owner. We had her less than 12 hours before a problem was reported, lots of rotten goo coming from her lady parts. Of course the first concern is PYO, we had them take her temp and would reassess to see if she needed to go to the ER or could she wait until tomorrow for Dr. Reno to take care of her. A few hours later she wasn’t better and the temp on her was climbing. She was shuffled quickly to the ER for emergency surgery.
