Ray and Sherry Patrick of Sellersburg, Indiana, have opened their home—and their hearts—once again. They first adopted sweet Netflix, a little girl who came to us completely blind from cataracts. The Patricks waited patiently for her, knowing she needed time and care at the sanctuary through her eye surgeries, and they gave her exactly that. Heartbreakingly, she needed an unrelated surgery and passed two days later.
They wanted her to have companionship, so they had adopted Gus, an aged‑out breeder boy who instantly became her shadow. The two were inseparable, and losing Netflix has left Gus adrift without his best friend.
We’ve been searching carefully for a dog who would fit the rambunctious Gus and Fiddlesticks turned out to be the perfect match. She’s already been given her new name—Tilly—which feels just right for a girl stepping into a life filled with comfort and joy. She’s the lucky one heading to Indiana, where she’ll be loved, protected, and spoiled for the rest of her life. And Gus—sweet Gus—will finally have a new friend to share his days with.
A beautiful new chapter for the Patricks (both human and fur) begins now.
