Hear ye, hear ye! A royal proclamation is upon us!
Queen Matilda Faye and Princess Phoebe Louise are thrilled to announce the newest addition to their kingdom: Prince Filbert Anselmo has officially arrived!
Miles and Amy Hanks originally applied to adopt our beloved Rita, but as she was already being considered for another home, we suggested another noble candidate—Filbert. With two other French bulldogs already in their royal court, we knew he’d be a perfect fit.
The Hanks family visited the Ranch and, just like that, it was love at first sight. They saw what everyone sees when they meet him: a truly special soul. To seal their promise, they gifted him a “promise toy”—none other than Buc-ee the Beaver—letting Prince Filbert know they’d return soon to take him to his forever castle.
Amy had a few shifts left to finish before enjoying five days off to help him settle in, so the royal transition was briefly delayed. But now, Prince Filbert Anselmo Hanks has been officially swept away to his new kingdom, where he’s already being treated like the royalty he is.
Long live Prince Filbert! 👑

Other Frenchie rescues are struggling as well and to add to the issue of being inundated with our breed, we have never struggle so hard to raise funds, It’s not sustainable, we cannot keep up with the demand of the rescues needed and the lack of funds to care for them. People are struggling, dogs are struggling and what can we do? Ricky and Lorie are working on another raffle for tequila this time, I am working on building an auction for artisan works by village members, I am contemplating building another auction with items donated that are not hand crafted and some of the things I brought back from my moms house to raise funds. It feels like we are going to have to have a fundraiser every couple of months to try and tread water. I don’t see things getting any better for people that are struggling financially either.

With all that being said just today alone we were hit with these 3 and there are more in the wings, owner surrenders and Frenchies in shelters.
This fluffy pied Frenchie was discarded by a breeder along with this chocolate girl, covered in ticks, the fluffy pied has milk, and a nasty oozing infected c-section scar.
Emma drove them both straight to Dr. Renos and then drove off to the shelter to get this third one with his little broken down ears. They said he was grouchy at the shelter, not that I blame him, he was just surrendered to the shelter by his used to be owner, he is a mess.
